Brit Shea



Brittney (Brit) Shea, choreographer and master teacher, began dancing at
the very young age of two. As the daughter of a dance teacher, Brit spent her
childhood in the studio, studying and perfecting her craft in ballet, tap, jazz,
lyrical, modern, contemporary, and later in life, hip hop. Growing up in the
competition circuit, Brit has been a scholarship winner and multi-title holder with various pristine dance competitions such as Stage One and Dance Educators of America.

At the age of 16, Brit choreographed her first professional piece for
television on the NBC network. Brit was offered to tour with Marching
Auxiliaries Dance camps and competitions out of highschool, but was
accepted, and attended AMDA in New York to major in Musical Theater
where she lead many student taught workshops. After school, Brit had
the chance to work with various musical artist such as Pat Benatar, Heart,
and Wynona. She has also had the opportunity to study Film and Television
acting as well as dance, from some of the best teachers in America, and has
danced/taught in various states and countries including California, New
York, Iowa, and Berlin, Germany. Brit most recently taught for Austin's own
Dance Xplosion, where she had won multiple choreography recognitions
and awards, as well as judging with various competitions. She currently
tours with Power Dance Conventions, and choreographs for multiple studios
across the country.
